About me

My name is Kristine Gazel. I am living in Copenhagen, Denmark, with my husband Mark Thomas Gazel, our children Elisabeth and Tristan, and our cat, Bella. I am a librarian, and holding a masters degree in Library and Information Science.

I’m relaxing with a book, a movie or a walk in the park. I’ve been into Tarot for about 17 years and I am also interested in litterature, spirituality, philosophy and jungian depth psychology.

About the blog

This blog is devoted to Tarot and my love for it. This blog will function both as a tarot blog and maybe because I’m a librarian, as a ressouceguide on the topic of Tarot. Therefore you will also here find a selective and exclusive ressouceguide with links and with book references – in due time.

I’ve realised the close connection between the Tarot and the subject of Alchemy. Mainly via my work with, interest in, and love for the Alchemical Tarot by Robert Place. Therefore part of this blog is also dedicated to my fascination with Alchemy and how it relates to the Tarot and to the Jungian Analytical Psychology.

About the Tarot

For my own readings I’m using the Universal Waite Tarot Deck – and therefore I’ve requested U.S. Games Inc. for permission to use the images from this deck on this site. I’ll pretty much stick to this deck, and I’ll write a blogpost about this deck some time soon. If I use images from other decks, I’ll get permission from the copyright holders to use these decks.

The permisson from U.S. Games is for educational purposes only. Therefore I do not offer Tarot Readings through this website. I’m not doing this blog for commercial purposes. It’s meant to be inspiring and to share my love for and interest in the fabulous and mystical and divine worlds of the Tarot.
