About Lapis Philosophorum

About me

My name is Kristine Gazel. I am living in Copenhagen, Denmark, with my husband Mark Thomas Gazel, our children Elisabeth and Tristan, and our cat, Bella.

I’m relaxing with a book, a movie or a walk in the park. I’ve been into Tarot for about 17 years and I am also interested in litterature, spirituality, philosophy and jungian depth psychology.

About the blog

This blog is devoted to Tarot and my love for it. It’s meant to be inspiring and to share my love for and interest in the fabulous and mystical and divine worlds of the Tarot.

I’ve realised the close connection between the Tarot and the subject of Alchemy and the symbols of the Unconscious. Mainly via my work with, interest in, and love for the Alchemical Tarot by Robert Place. Therefore part of this blog is also dedicated to my fascination with Alchemy and how it relates to the Tarot and to the Jungian Analytical Psychology.
